Consultant Trauma, Orthopaedic & Hand Surgeon

Mr Bodansky is a hand and wrist orthopaedic surgeon, and he focuses on understanding how your problem affects you. He aims to get you back to your normal life, hobbies and sports as swiftly as possible. Mr Bodansky specialises in surgical and non-surgical treatments of the hand and wrist, treating over 3,000 patients a year, of which 500 have surgery, meaning most are treated successfully without surgery. He trained in Orthopaedics in Liverpool, London and North America, including Fellowship training at Great Ormond Street, Wrightington, East Grinstead and Chelsea and Westminster.

He ranked first in Europe for hand and wrist surgery, in the European Hand Diploma, the exam most consultant surgeons specialising in hand surgery sit. In his medical training, Mr Bodansky won over thirty prizes and represented the British Hand Society, teaching about hand injuries in Ethiopia. In 2025, he won the ‘I Want Great Care’ Certificate of Excellence, voted by patients and colleagues for delivering outstanding care.
